A luminous display born from the imagination of Mario Andreoli that is renewed each year, enriching itself with new details. The Manarola nativity scene spreads over 4,000 square meters of hillside, spreading out among terraces and vineyards, an evocative open-air religious interpretation.

More than 300 characters and 17,000 light bulbs, a vision of colors and plays of light that boasts the record for the largest nativity scene in Italy: life-size figures composed with craftsmanship through reused materials, an event now in its 62nd edition that will amaze and excite young and old alike.

The nativity scene has a privileged vantage point: reach the path that leads from Manarola to Riomaggiore whose beginning is located in the town square, walking down the 320 steps you will arrive in an elevated area from which to admire all the sacred majesty of this masterpiece.
